CHOOSE FROM 10 TOPICS IN TWO WORKSHOP SESSIONS OFFERING IDEAS FOR YOU AND YOUR GARDEN

PLUS OUR KEYNOTE!
Lyme Light: Bringing Tick Safety Out of the Shadows -
Dr. Stephen Rich, TickReport/MedZu
They haven’t always been so, but ticks are now a part of our environment. While no one likes them, it’s important to understand the risks they pose and, more importantly, the means of reducing those risks. For gardeners or anyone who spends time outdoors, become empowered to take the upper hand and get answers to questions about what you can do to prevent tick-borne diseases.

Cost: $40/pp

The ability to register and pay online with a credit card will end Friday, March 20 at noon. After that, walk-ins are welcome although the choice of workshops may be limited on a space available basis. Payment at the door is by check or cash only.

PLUS
.....

Refreshments
- Morning coffee and goodies.

Optional Lunch (see the registration form for choices)

Soil Testing - Plants grow best when soil pH is in the optimum range and spring is a great time to test for pH before the growing season begins. Bring 1/2 to 1 cup of soil from 8-12 spots 6-8 inches deep taken randomly around the garden and mixed together. Take separate samples for different growing areas. Testing is for pH only, and doesn't include testing for nutrients. Limit of 3 samples per person.

Marketplace - So far, OESCO (tools) and Many Graces Farm (dahlia tubers), will be on hand with their products for sale, with more vendors to come!

Parking - Please car pool if at all possible; parking may be tight! If the lot is full at Frontier, additional parking is available at the Deerfield Elementary School on Pleasant St.
