Butterflies In Your Garden: How (And Why) To Create A Pollinator Habitat

Larri Cochran (WMMGA) and Carol Wasserloos (WMMGA) will talk about why we need to plant gardens that are pollinator-friendly and how to do it. Using examples from their pollinator gardens at the Northampton Community Gardens & Grow Food Northampton, they'll discuss which plants are the best hosts for Monarchs & Swallowtails and how to select plants to ensure your garden will have flowers from early Spring through late Fall.

Handouts will include four-season plant lists, online resources and printed materials from the Xerces Society and USDA/NRCS.
